Something truly unique for the SCLTD label catalog - We bring you JG Shadid's "Nova Deco".
Have you ever had that friend that just truly astounds you with their talent? Joe is that friend.
Here Joe (JG) has written a piece of beautiful neo-classical music titled Nova Deco performed by the Bloom String Quartet here in Chicago.
This piece was in written in three movements and rather than being rooted in more modern composers like Arvo Part, it's origins are influenced in late 19th/20th century harmonic language. It feels like a sojurn to our past, a variation of an era, a celebration of certain intersections within our broad and beautiful language of music.
This one sided LP captures this raw, single performance classical piece in all of it's glory. I'm infinitely fortunate to be surrounded by talented folks like JG Shadid.
We have pressed an extremely limited one time pressing on white vinyl. Our October SCLTD Patreon vinyl subscribers will all receive a copy. Otherwise there are not many available here on the webstore.
