Greening - Self Titled - LP | STORM089

What a cool record. Here we have the debut self titled LP from Akron OH's Greening.

This band has been years in the making and features Jake and Jay from the legendary instrumental quartet The Six Parts Seven alongside Mike Tolan (from Talons') and Scotty Moses (from Annabel). If you're a fan of any of these bands previous works than this LP will be a welcome treat. This LP acts as a continuation of where The Six Parts Seven left off with some new twists and turns care of Scotty and Mike's contributions. 

This is a beautifully dense, driving, melodic instrumental LP. It's not quite post-rock. It's not quite ambient. It's not quite jazz. But this LP treads the lines between all three beautifully. One of our favorites of the year.
