En Garde is a band from Akron, OH that was formed in November of 2011 by Ross Horvath (vocals/guitar - formerly of A Voice Like Rhetoric) and Andy Hendricks (drums - Annabel, What Gives, Party'z).
En Garde's two-piece minimalism was a new approach of writing for both Hendricks and Horvath. Locking in together to produce tight angular foreground momentums and layered negative spaces allowed En Garde to create compositions that are engaging and interesting.
This is their up-until-now unreleased full length effort DEBTS which was recorded nearly ~10 years ago and had never seen the light of day until RIGHT NOW. A wonderfully intricate and exciting record which acts as the final (?) document of this excellent and mysterious band.
